HOW TO USE

PREPARATION OF THE SUPPORT<\/strong>: the concrete floor must be cured for a minimum of 28 days before any intervention. Proceed only on clean surfaces free from contaminants such as: oil sealants, general dirt or paints. Possible contaminants such as: consolidants, sealants, waxes, acrylic resins or chemical barriers can affect the ability of the colorant to react and penetrate correctly into the substrate. Proceed by masking and protecting all surfaces adjacent to the floor for which the product is not intended using correct systems resistant to the products used.
\nPREPARATION OF THE SUPPORT<\/strong>: COLOR PLUS can be diluted both in water and in solvents (such as acetone, butyl acetates, butyl glycol, etc.) in a variable ratio depending on the degree of colouring required. On average, a mixing ratio of 250 cc of colour in 4\/4.5 litres of water or solvent is considered.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

APPLICATION<\/strong>: normally the product can be used already after the 200 resinoid grain, apply using an airless system with manual pump, HVLP system or other suitable dispenser (depending on the chosen dilution system and the experience of the applicator) with uniform and continuous movements maintaining a distance between the outlet nozzle and the surface of approximately 15-20 cm, avoiding dripping, accumulations or poorly sprayed areas. Wait for the dye to dry completely, then proceed with a surface wash using a washer-dryer equipped with soft white abrasive felts and water, avoiding the use of detergents of any type, in particular alkaline detergents or those containing solvents or eco-solvents.
\nOnce the flooring is dry, carry out a check using a cotton swab (rag) and rub a sample area to ensure that there is no further release of product.
\nIt will then be possible to move on to the densification phase using silicates and subsequent smoothing phases using abrasive systems up to 800 grit, followed by polishing if required. High levels of humidity can affect the performance of the color, the presence of a vapor barrier in the substrate is always required before proceeding with surface coloring.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

If you choose to use a solvent as a dilution system, you will need to pay attention to the safety phrases reported on the label or safety data sheet of the chosen product. In any case, it is good practice to keep in mind some fundamental considerations since solvent-based products are normally highly flammable and it is advisable that work areas are well ventilated with natural ventilation by keeping doors, gates, windows open so that there is, turning off any energy source such as electrical tools, cell phones, lights in general and it is also strictly necessary that there is no heat source such as: open flames, heating, turned on stoves. Make sure to keep the area in a safe state until there are no more vapors in the environment that could form explosive mixtures.
\nIt is also recommended to use airway protection systems using suitable activated carbon filter masks, always referring to the safety data sheet of the solvent used which must indicate which type is most suitable for protection from the same, it is also recommended to use suitable PPE for the protection of hands and eyes.
