EPOXY COATING SUITABLE FOR FOOD CONTACT

FEDEREPO 200 It is a two-component, pre-dosed system formulation for coating concrete surfaces based on solvent-free epoxy resins, ideal for food processing environments where the absence of releases is required or in all those sectors where optimal environmental hygiene and easy cleaning are required; the formulation also guarantees excellent resistance to abrasion, high adhesion to the substrate and good chemical resistance to alkaline or acidic substances, furthermore it does not undergo any alteration in contact with water at temperatures up to approximately 70°C.

Description

HOW TO USE

PREPARATION OF THE SUPPORT: the surfaces must be clean, free from dust, oil, grease, loose parts, paint residues and anything that could impair adhesion. Any metal supports present in the areas concerned must be free from rust, rolling slag and other impurities. For concrete substrates we recommend using FEDERPRIMER, a two-component, fluid, solvent-free epoxy primer, applied with a roller or smoothed appropriately by loading with quartz sand. In the case of substrates with rising damp, it is essential to create a barrier with UNICO TRIEPOXY applied in two coats to be smoothed.

PREPARATION OF THE SUPPORT: two-component product to be mixed at the moment of use and applicable at temperatures from +8°C to +35°C. Mix the two components separately, then pour the contents of component B into component A and mix the compound with an electric mixer at low speed for a few minutes, until completely mixed. Mix only the quantities that can be used within the maximum mixing time.

TOOL CLEANING

Equipment used for preparation and application can be cleaned with product thinner and epoxy.

STORAGE

Storage 12 months, if stored in well-closed containers and in cool, dry environments, with temperatures between +5°C and +25°C.
