Privacy and processing of personal data

The information and data regarding the users of the site will be processed by Federchemicals in accordance with the Italian legislation implementing directives 95/46/CE and 2002/58/CE of the European Parliament and Council, i.e. in accordance with Legislative Decree 30 June 2003 n. 196 and subsequent amendments and additions.

1. Purpose and methods of data processing

Federchemicals informs users of the site that the data collected will be used exclusively for the purposes specified below, and to keep users updated on news, promotions and activities of Federchemicals in general.
Federchemicals will use the data collected to:

1. execute sales or service provision contracts (supply of goods or services);
2. direct marketing activities, including through the sending of newsletters, MMS or SMS messages or other types of messages;
3. information activities;
4. creation of professional profiles relating to customers or consumers;
5. market research or other research useful for improving our products or services;

The data collected may be processed in electronic or paper form, and will, in any case, always be protected by adequate and constantly updated security systems and stored in a safe and controlled environment.

2. Data controllers and scope of dissemination

The personal data entered by the user will be known and used by the employees of Federchemicals Srl and/or its branches and/or resellers for the sole purpose of carrying out the activities that constitute the reason for which the data were collected (for example, to execute sales or service contracts or to send information material). The data may be communicated to other companies associated with Federchemicals in Italy, in the European Union or to countries outside the Union, provided that the legal system of the country of destination or transit of the data ensures an adequate level of protection of individuals. The adequacy will be assessed by comparing the systems of the foreign country and the Italian one.

The data may also be communicated to suppliers of electronic communication services, banks, financial intermediaries, credit institutions, other financing bodies, managers of centralized IT systems, insurance companies, consultants and freelancers who collaborate with Federchemicals, debt collection and litigation management companies, companies that perform packaging and shipping services for goods or that organize the sending of mail and commercial information, research bodies or companies, non-profit associations or foundations.

3. Rights of the interested party

The owner and controller of the data collected is Federchemicals Srl, with registered office in Italy, Via G. Borsi, 2 – 25128 – Brescia – Italy, to whom interested parties may contact in writing to exercise the rights established by art. 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, namely for:

1. obtain an indication of the origin of the personal data, the purposes and methods of processing, the logic applied in the event of processing carried out with the aid of electronic instruments; the details of the data controller, the subjects or categories of subjects to whom the personal data may be communicated or who may become aware of them;
2. obtain the updating, rectification or integration of data, the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, including data whose retention is not necessary in relation to the purposes for which the data were collected or subsequently processed, certification that the requested operations have been brought to the attention, also with regard to their content, of those to whom the data have been communicated or disseminated, except in the case in which such fulfillment proves impossible or involves the use of means manifestly disproportionate to the right protected;
3. oppose for legitimate reasons the processing of personal data concerning him/her, even if pertinent to the purpose of the collection, or the processing of personal data concerning him/her for the purpose of sending advertising or direct sales material or for carrying out market research or commercial communication.
