RUSTSTONE is a product in a highly concentrated aqueous solution, based on strong inorganic acids. It is a product designed to remove impurities, rust, oxides and foreign inorganic substances from marble, granite and natural stone such as: Beole, Pietra Piasentina, Pietra Serena, Pietra di Fiorenzuola, Pietra di Luserna, Serizzo, etc. RUSTSTONE is particularly suitable for all those granites very rich in iron minerals that tend to oxidize with air. RUSTSTONE is a product particularly recommended for the restorative treatment of stone materials: it removes traces of rust left by saw blades from the slabs. Safely eliminates lime and filings, surface rust stains, even at low concentrations of product. Use RUSTSTONE on raw slabs before the smoothing and polishing processes

Description

HOW TO USE

Dilution: RUSTSTONE is used in dilution of 30-50% in water in relation to the conditions of the material to be cleaned.
Application: wet the raw slabs abundantly with a synthetic brush (apply the product already pre-diluted with water) by spraying or with a brush (not metallic) uniformly. WARNING Never apply RUSTSTONE on polished marble. Protect the parts that are not resistant to acids. Specialty for Industrial or Professional use only. Use the product for its intended use, strictly adhering to the warnings

Depending on the rust stains to be removed from the raw slabs before polishing.

WARNINGS

RUSTSTONE contains a solution of inorganic acids. Wear acid-resistant rubber boots, gloves, and safety glasses.

STORAGE

The product must be stored in the original containers, perfectly sealer, at a temperature between 0 and 30°C and shielded from direct sunlight. In these conditions, the product has a selflife of 12 months of the date quoted in the delivery note. If the material has been stored for longer than its recommended selflife, it might still be suitable, but this has to be determined beforehand by performing quality checks on its application-related properties.

In addition to good working practices, before applying the product, it is advisable to read the safety data sheets that are available on our website www.federchemicals.it or upon request to your local dealer, as well as the instructions on the packaging. Do not store the product at temperatures below 10°C. We decline all responsibility for the processing and for damage that may result from improper and incorrect use of the product.
