Description
HOW TO USE
Crystallization allows for a smooth and homogeneous surface by closing all the porosity of the stone. This treatment gives the floor an intense and long-lasting shine, increases its resistance to abrasion and black marks from shoes, making maintenance cleaning easy.
Dilution: The product is used as received.
Application: After having carried out a thorough preliminary cleaning of the floor, rinse and dry thoroughly. Shake the product well and spray a thin layer of KRISTALGLASS directly onto the floor 20 gr. per m2, making small areas at a time (about 2-3 meters). As a mechanical means, it is mandatory to use a machine equipped with a “Pad” in fine steel wool and work with the single-brush machine at 150/300 rpm insisting until obtaining a high degree of wet-effect gloss and a shiny dry finish. Do not use nylon pads as they are not suitable for this type of operation. After the treatment, recover the steel wool residues and carry out a thorough wash with neutral detergent, or with UNOPIU' and then vacuum. Finally, proceed to polish (at 300 rpm) with a white disc to increase the degree of gloss. For new floors, it is advisable to wait a month after laying before proceeding with crystallization. Never apply water or oil-water repellents before treatment with KRISTALGLASS as this would result in a disintegrating and detaching effect of the crystallizing product. KRISTALGLASS is only active on calcareous materials; always do a preliminary test to see if the product produces the desired aesthetic crystallization effect.
INDICATIVE COVERAGE
Approximately 2-3 litres per 100 m² depending on the porosity of the floor and the degree of shine you want to achieve.
STORAGE
The product must be stored in the original containers, hermetically sealed, at temperatures between 0 and 30°C, protected from direct sunlight. In these conditions the product has a shelf life of 1 year from the date of the delivery note. If the material has been kept beyond the recommended shelf life, it is not necessarily unusable but a quality control must be performed beforehand on the characteristics relevant to the application.
