Water-based acrylic protector for mineral substrates and printed floors

ACRIFLOOR AQ is a single-component, water-based acrylic resin designed for concrete surfaces exposed to both pedestrian and vehicular traffic. It delivers exceptional clarity while providing excellent resistance to the alkalinity of cementbased substrates.
ACRIFLOOR AQ is an odorless and eco-friendly product given the complete absence of compounds harmful to health, such as plasticizers, solvents, nonylphenols or formaldehyde.
It offers long-lasting protection against weathering and aggressive agents. It is ideal for dust-proofing floors, enhancing and reinforcing plaster, concrete, and mineral surfaces, as well as exposed bricks, washed gravel, natural stone, and various types of concrete floors—including industrial power-troweled (unfinished) surfaces, stamped floors, stencil-spray floors, and terrazzo.
ACRIFLOOR AQ acts as a barrier against carbon dioxide diffusion, effectively protecting reinforced concrete from carbonation.

Description

HOW TO USE

APPLICATIONIt can be applied to concrete with residual moisture because the film's microporous structure allows excess moisture to escape. In any case, it is best to apply to clean, dry surfaces free of dirt, grease, and salts, mechanically removing any loose particles. The concrete must be allowed to cure for at least 3-4 weeks. Application to surfaces with saline efflorescence or subject to rising damp does not guarantee long-lasting adhesion and does not prevent the formation of defects. The product can be applied by air spray, airless spray, roller, or brush. The nozzle must be 1.9-2.2 mm and the pressure must be 4 atm. Number of coats required: one or two.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS: ambient temperature: above +5°C, relative humidity: below 85%, apply only on cold surfaces, avoid application in high humidity, direct sunlight, or strong wind.

PRODUCT YIELD

80÷125 ml/m2 per coat.

STORAGE

The shelf life of the product is 12 months provided that the material is stored indoors, in a sealed can and protected from heat sources and frost.
