The preparation of the surfaces to be treated is very important for the success of the work we are going to do; first of all, it is advisable to clean the surface to be sanded thoroughly from all those construction site residues such as: gravel, nails, etc., after which deposit 30 to 60 grams of product (2/3 tablespoons) per square meter; wet the powder until it obtains a milky consistency, then place the traditional sanding machine, equipped with felt, or with a weighted single-brush machine on the wet powder and work the surface for a few meters at a time without ever letting it dry. The heat, the dust and the friction cause the evaporation of the water and with the drying and the combination of the products the marble is polished. A patina of product will remain on the floor; it is advisable to remove the patina from a small area using a rag, in order to check the degree of polish obtained and, if necessary, repeat the operation. At the end of the polishing treatment, it is advisable to remove the entire patina, using a neutral detergent such as: DETERGON R3 or BIOSAN. It is recommended to rinse very well with clean water.
