Description
HOW TO USE
PREPARATION OF THE SUPPORT: surfaces must be flat, clean, free from dust, oil, grease, mud, loose parts, paint and anything that could reduce adhesion. If necessary, before applying EPORIV 20/FR, heat the room well so that the substrate also reaches a temperature of 10°C. Apply at room temperature from +10°C to +30°C with relative humidity lower than 85%. IMPORTANT NOTES: do not apply EPORIV 20/FR on substrates that have not been prepared correctly and not treated with FEDERPRIMER, do not apply EPORIV 20/FR on damp substrates or those subject to capillary rising damp and do not expose the mixed product to heat sources.
APPLICATION OF FEDERPRIMER: carefully mix component B with component AE until a uniform colour is obtained, then load the product with quartz level (0.1-0.5mm) in a weight ratio of 1:0.8. Once the mixture is obtained, proceed with the spreading and smoothing to zero with a smooth spatula, taking care to cover the entire surface. It is also recommended to dust the surface with fine quartz (0.1-0.5mm) immediately after applying the primer in order to improve the adhesion of EPORIV 20/FR.
PREPARATION OF EPORIV 20/FR: combine component B (hardener) with component A (coloured resin), mix for a few minutes with a low-rev drill until a lump-free, uniformly coloured mixture is obtained, then, still stirring slowly, add the required quantity of inert material and mix until a uniform mixture is obtained.
APPLICATION: EPORIV 20/FR can be used as a self-leveling coating and as a multilayer.
1. As a smooth self-leveling coating (2 mm thick)
Prepare the substrate properly by shot blasting and then cleaning the surface, then apply FEDERPRIMER, after which, once the primer has hardened, apply EPORIV 20/FR uniformly with a notched trowel. The hardening time of EPORIV 20/FR varies according to the temperature (from 6 to 24 hours). It is recommended to spread and level the mortar and smooth it out with a bubble roller in crossed passes to help the air escape.
2. As a multilayer coating (thickness 1-2mm)
It is recommended to adequately prepare the substrate by shot blasting and subsequent cleaning of the surface, then apply FEDERPRIMER, after which, once the primer has hardened, apply EPORIV 20/FR uniformly with a smooth trowel, then seed to saturation with quartz suitable for the thickness to be achieved, then remove the excess unanchored quartz and then apply the finishing layer of EPORIV 20/FR with a smooth trowel. If necessary, seed again and apply another layer. The hardening time of EPORIV 20/FR is influenced and dependent on the ambient temperature, in any case it is recommended, from the last coat applied, not to open the floor to pedestrian traffic before 24-48 hours and to heavy traffic not before 3-5 days.

STORAGE
The shelf life of the product is 12 months from the date of the delivery note, provided that the material is stored indoors, in sealed packaging, away from heat sources and frost and at a temperature not exceeding 40°C. If the material has been kept beyond the recommended shelf life, it is not necessarily unusable, but a quality control must be carried out beforehand on the characteristics pertaining to the application.
