Description
HOW TO USE
APPLICATION: If polishing has been carried out with a traditional machine and abrasives: after reaching at least grit 3/4, or preferably grit 4, place on the floor a small amount of powder (2 or 3 tablespoons), apply a pad or a soft sponge, and with the machine well aligned, slightly open the water valve and begin polishing a few square meters at a time. This will create on the surface a slurry with a consistency similar to yogurt or liquid cream, which will be used for polishing. The mixture should never be allowed to become too dry, as this would prevent the machine from gliding properly, nor too liquid, as this would not allow the correct chemical reaction. If too little water has been used and lapping marks have been created, simply go over the area again with the same method, but opening the water valve a bit more. Once the slurry has been consumed, simply add more polishing powder without removing what is already on the surface. During polishing operations, it is advisable to check the gloss level obtained by removing the film from a small area with a cloth or squeegee. If necessary, repeat the process. If polishing has been carried out with a traditional machine using diamond tools or a single-disc machine: polishing can be done after grit 400, or preferably grit 800. Then proceed as described above, using a pad/sponge or a white soft anti-scratch disc. At the end of the polishing treatment, it is recommended to remove all residue and wash with a neutral detergent such as DETERGON R3 or with a water-repellent detergent such as K-SOAP, in order to obtain a clean, bright surface with temporary resistance to dirt, clean and protected joints, thus facilitating daily maintenance.
