Description
HOW TO USE
PREPARATION OF THE SUPPORT: surfaces must be clean, free from dust, oil, grease, mud, crumbly parts, paint and anything that may harm adhesion. Any metal supports present in the affected areas must be free of rust, rolling slag and impurities.
PREPARATION OF THE SUPPORT: slowly pour Comp. B (hardener) into Comp. A (base resin), then mix with manual mixer at low rpm, for at least 3 min. it is recommended to avoid air inclusions. If necessary dilute with solvent Ethyleneglycol monopropyl ether.
APPLICATION: with a perfectly clean, dusted and dry surface apply a layer of the previously obtained mixture with a roller. If, after penetration into the substrate, small surface cracks and micro-holes appear, it is necessary to proceed with masking, by means of a rubber squeegee, to seal the above, The masking phase may be avoided depending on the substrate conditions and the operator’s own assessment. You can also use an epoxy filler. After drying the filler, it is recommended to have sanding followed. Then mix a new appropriate quantity of product and apply the second layer always with a roller system. In case of harsh environments apply a third transparent protective layer by roller or spray gun depending on the type of work and environment. The interval between the various passes is about 4 hours at 20°C. If this interval is exceeded, it is advisable to carry out a slight sanding and a thorough cleaning of the surface with alcohol, in order to ensure the perfect adhesion of the following hands.
TECHNICAL NOTES: the recommended final thickness is 100 to 300 μm, depending on the conditions of the media itself. Apply the product at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C and relative humidity not exceeding 85%. Failure to meet these parameters can cause the reduction of the glossy effect, drying delay, surface defects, etc. Do not apply to hot, scorched or sun-exposed surfaces. Do not apply abundant hands, because they could cause delays in complete drying and possible unwanted color shades. It is recommended to perform several coats with consumption not exceeding 100/150 g/m2. It is recommended to strictly follow the indications given in this data sheet, to avoid the imperfect success of the coating, drying delays, efflorescence or loss of brightness. The product can turn yellow and lose performance when applied in outdoor locations and direct exposure to the sun.
