Solvent-based deep water repellent, anti-mold, anti-saltpetre

PRIMALAS/92 is a solvent-based water repellent designed for the deep protection, anti-saltpetre, anti-mold and indirect consolidating of internal and external surfaces in natural stone, marble, granite, agglomerates, terracotta, cement, exposed bricks, etc. It prevents the absorption of water and the appearance of efflorescence on floors and surfaces both internal and external, while allowing the breathability of the material. The product is particularly suitable for the protection of all surfaces including cementitious ones, where a barrier resistant to the particular alkalinity of the surface itself is required.
PRIMALAS/92 is characterised by an excellent penetration capacity, an essential and fundamental prerequisite for good deep impregnation and a hydrophobic surface defence against the disintegrating washout of acid rain, creating a barrier to the penetration of atmospheric dirt and chemical agents.

Description

HOW TO USE

Dilution: it is used as received.
Application: Clean the surfaces with an appropriate detergent. Once the surface is clean and perfectly dry, apply the product evenly with a brush or roller, also soaking the joints well. For applying the product on vertical surfaces, we recommend using a spray gun (airless) in two coats (wet on wet). On natural stones with low absorbency, such as slate, use just one coat of PRIMALAS/92.
If the PRIMALAS/92 product is applied in two coats to waste, as recommended by us, its duration (both indoors and outdoors) is not less than 15 – 20 years, excluding marine areas and areas close to the sea. Before using the product, we recommend always doing a sample test on a small surface to check that the material does not change color.

INDICATIVE COVERAGE

Hand made Terracotta: approximately 12-15 litres per 100 m2 per coat.
Mechanical Terracotta: approximately 10-12 litres per 100 m2 per coat.
Highly porous natural stones: approximately 12-15 litres per 100 m2 per coat.
Low porous granites and marbles: approximately 8-10 litres per 100 m2 per coat.
Cement: approximately 12-15 litres per 100 m2 per coat.

STORAGE

The product must be stored in the original containers, hermetically sealed, at temperatures between 0 and 25°C, protected from direct sunlight in a well-ventilated area. In these conditions the product has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of the delivery note. If the material has been kept beyond the recommended shelf life, it is not necessarily unusable but a quality control must be performed beforehand on the characteristics relevant to the application.

Do not store the product at temperatures below 10°C. We decline all responsibility for the processing and for damage that may result from improper and incorrect use of the product. The indications we give on the characteristics of the product and the methods of use come from in-depth results of laboratory and technical tests.
