Water-oil repellent protector for marble, granite, natural stone, agglomerates

88 SHIELD is an oil-water repellent for natural stones, limestone, marble, granite, terrazzo ecc.
88 SHIELD ensures a high degree of protection, is mark proof, and prevents general oil and dirt from sticking.
When it is used on surfaces previously treated with PRIMALAS/92 or LITHOS, it gives maximum protection as the above mentioned products protect against marks from rising damp, drop marks, pollution and acid rain.

Description

HOW TO USE

Apply the product on a perfectly clean, dry and cold surface not exposed to sunlight and not during the hottest hours of the day, using a brush or better still with low pressure sprinklers with a 0.5 mm. nozzle or airless spray gun at a distance of around 20 cm from the surface. Any excess of product can be removed using a clean white cloth moistened with the product itself or a brush equipped with a soft disk. We suggest repeating the application of 88 SHIELD two to three hours after the first coat.

PRECAUTIONS
We suggest to test an inconspicuous area first to ascertain any change in colour of the materials to be treated.

QUANTITY OF USE
Approximately 7-10 litres per 100 m2 per coat depending on the porosity of the surface.

STORAGE

The product must be stored in the original containers, perfectly sealer, at a temperature between 0 and 30°C and shielded from direct sunlight at ventilated area. In these conditions, the product has a self-life of 24 months of the date quoted in the delivery note. If the material has been stored for longer than its recommended self-life, it might still be suitable, but this has to be determined beforehand by performing quality checks on its application-related properties.
