Complete impregnating agent for terracotta, formulated with special carnauba waxes and beeswaxes. Born to solve all those problems arising from the need not to alter the visual effect

The FEDERCOTT/C product is a complete impregnator for terracotta floors, Spanish terracotta, Provencal, Mediterranean, terracotta, non-vitrified klinker and natural stone, formulated with special carnauba waxes and beeswaxes conveyed in synthetic resins, created to solve all those problems arising from the need not to alter the visual effect, so that the treatment can be carried out perfectly. The resistance of the FEDERCOTT/C product to acidic substances and ultraviolet rays makes it a product suitable for multiple applications. It protects against dirt and degradation while respecting the breathability of the surfaces.

Description

HOW TO USE

From the time, the surface is washed to the treatment with FEDERCOTT/C at least 2 summer days and 5-6 winter days must pass; in any case the flooring must at the most be humid (that is, there should not be any darkened tiles due to the water absorbed).
It is essential, together with the sealing, to guarantee the terracotta protection against agents coming from the sub-base of the flooring using the product SILOSILAN D.L., a water-based salt proof impregnator, taking care to apply the products at a temperature not lower than 10°C. Shake the product; pour the needed quantity in a basin (never return unused product to the container) and spread it using a roller or brush taking care to spread it well. After 3-4 hours apply a second coat in the same manner. You will notice that FEDERCOTT/C is self-levelling and therefore does not leave streaks on the flooring. End the treatment phase by applying the resin-wax finish COVER.
In the event it is necessary to remove the FEDERCOTT/C, use the solvent called FEDERSOLV DW44 or DEC (water-based stripper) in the quantity and manner noted on the technical data sheets.

STORAGE

The product must be stored in the original containers, perfectly sealer, at a temperature between 0 and 30°C and shielded from direct sunlight. In these conditions, the product has a selflife of 12 months of the date quoted in the delivery note. If the material has been stored for longer than its recommended selflife, it might still be suitable, but this has to be determined beforehand by performing quality checks on its application-related properties.

QUANTITY OF USE

For two coats: 1 kg for appr. 10-12 sq. depending on the absorption of the surface.

In addition to good working practices, before applying the product, it is advisable to read the safety data sheets that are available on our website www.federchemicals.it or upon request to your local dealer, as well as the instructions on the packaging. Do not store the product at temperatures below 10°C. We decline all responsibility for the processing and for damage that may result from improper and incorrect use of the product.
