SOLVENT-BASED NON-YELLOWING FILMOGENIC ANTI-EVAPORANT FOR MORTARS AND CONCRETE

FEDERCURE 220 is a single-component product based on resins in organic solvents capable of forming a uniform film on the concrete with a semi-gloss finish that minimizes the risk of cracking caused by excessive evaporation of the water in the mix (plastic shrinkage). The film obtained is also particularly suitable for anti-dust treatments on industrial flooring, plaster, parking lots, garages, warehouses, cellars and outdoor surfaces such as external flooring, squares, parking lots, avenues, etc.

Description

HOW TO USE

PREPARATION OF THE SUPPORT: all surfaces must be perfectly clean and dry, free from dust, grease or loose parts. In the case of vertical application, apply immediately after removing the formwork after washing with water.

APPLICATION: the product is ready to use and does not require any dilution. Apply using a medium-haired roller or spray at temperatures from +5°C to +35°C, directly onto fresh cement or concrete in a single pass, immediately after installation and surface finishing, as soon as the surfacing water has evaporated. Drying times to the touch are approximately 60 / 80 minutes.

TECHNICAL CONSIDERATIONS

Please note that FEDERCURE 220 prevents any other finishing product from adhering therefore the use of FEDERCURE 220 It is not recommended when you want to cure concrete or plaster when smoothing or painting is planned unless adequate mechanical cleaning is carried out to remove the product through sandblasting or smoothing.

INDICATIVE COVERAGE

100÷150ml/m² (per coat) variable depending on the characteristics of the support on which it is applied and the application method. Application in two coats is recommended. Rougher surfaces and lower temperatures increase consumption and lengthen the catalysis times of the product.

STORAGE

Store FEDERCURE 220 in a covered and ventilated place, in a sealed can and away from heat sources and frost. In these conditions the product has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of the delivery note.
