WHAT IT OS USED FOR, WHERE IT IS USED
NOVASOL is a highly cross-linked, water-based, single-component emulsion, ideal as a protective finish for floors and surfaces in marble, natural stone, decorative vertical surfaces, self-leveling cementitious products, decorative microcement floors, concrete floors, terrazzo and cement tiles. NOVASOL has a very low VOC content and is suitable for applications on internal and external surfaces and floors. Thanks to its special formulation, it gives the treated surfaces a finish with excellent resistance to traffic and excellent resistance to wear, reducing the ordinary maintenance normally required. In fact, the very thin protective film that is created, in addition to ensuring excellent adhesion to the treated substrate, improves waterproofing, mechanical resistance to wear and scratching, with excellent chromatic stability over time. Furthermore, NOVASOL has excellent resistance against the main staining substances in general and good resistance to both domestic and industrial chemicals of a mild type (weakly acidic and weakly alkaline).

HOW TO USE AND WHY TO USE IT
Substrate preparation: the product must be applied on cold, perfectly clean and dry surfaces, free from oil, grease or dirt and on healthy, compact and completely mature supports in the case of cement surfaces and free from surface treatments or anything else that could cause poor adhesion between the product and the surface for which it is intended.
NOVASOL is ready to use and does not require dilution, but it is possible and advisable where necessary to dilute the first coat with a ratio of 1:1, 1:2 up to 1:3 with clean water.
Application: always shake before use, then apply the first coat with a short-haired roller, short-haired mohair rollers, wax spreader or pad. Leave to dry for a minimum of 40 minutes (at +20°C), then apply a second coat if necessary, crossing it perpendicularly to the first. If high stain resistance is required, a third coat of product can be applied. For greater shine, it is recommended to apply the product with a wax spreader cloth and polish the last coat with a white pad mounted on a high-speed single-brush machine. The surface will be walkable after 24 hours while the product will be efficient on average within the following 72-96 hours from its application.
Application conditions: the ambient temperature must be above +8°C. Relative humidity <85%. Application on always cold surfaces. Do not apply the product in the presence of humidity of the support or high atmospheric humidity, with beating sun or strong wind, otherwise avoid in closed environments where the product is applied.
Product yeld: consumption varies based on the porosity of the surface to be treated, an average use of 50 to 200 gr/m2 can be considered. It is advisable to always perform a small test to check the absorption of the surface and verify any chemical resistance required.
