RUSTSTOP/G is a specific product specially formulated to remove all types of rust present in all those granites very rich in iron minerals. It is recommended for use on both rough and polished granites and even on materials such as Kashmire white, Panna fragola, Bianco cristal, Camelia white, Solar white and others.

Description

HOW TO USE

Apply the RUSTSTOP/G product evenly on the surfaces of the sheets to be treated, even vertically, using a sprayer or a brush equipped with a rag and taking care to proceed from the bottom upwards, being careful not to let the product drip. Place plastic shims to keep the sheets away from each other and leave the product to act for 2/3 hours or more, up to 10/12 hours depending on the quantity and persistence of the rust stains to be removed subsequently. Then rinse thoroughly with clean water.

PRECAUTIONS
To prevent a possible slight darkening of lighter materials, it is recommended to dilute RUSTSTOP/G with water (seven parts of product in three parts of water). NB The same derusting method is used on floors. After treatment with RUST STOP/G, it is recommended to apply a water-repellent protector such as LITHOS and a water-oil repellent such as KEOS/928 or KERASTONE, to be applied on the clean and perfectly dry surface in order to prevent atmospheric agents from subsequently triggering oxidising processes on the material. Do a preliminary test on a small surface to verify the effectiveness of the product on the material to be treated.

STORAGE

The product must be stored in the original containers, hermetically sealed, at temperatures between 0 and 25°C, protected from direct sunlight in a well-ventilated area. In these conditions the product has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of the delivery note. If the material has been kept beyond the recommended shelf life, it is not necessarily unusable but a quality control must be performed beforehand on the characteristics relevant to the application.

In addition to good working practices, before applying the product, it is advisable to read the safety data sheets that are available on our website www.federchemicals.it or upon request to your local dealer, as well as the instructions on the packaging. Do not store the product at temperatures below 10°C. We decline all responsibility for the processing and for damage that may result from improper and incorrect use of the product.
